A wealth of emerging research is showing that awareness of inner felt experience, a process called ‘interoception’, is a powerful attention style that activates healing for the brain, body, and emotions.
Interoception is an integral component of the Embodied Meditation practice. When combined with a Coherent Breathng rhythm, it plays a foundational role in restoring balance to your brain, nervous system, and biochemistry for self-healing, emotionally and physically.
This unique meditation style is based on thirty-five years of Steve Templin’s clinical experience, trauma-related neuroscience, Body-Oriented Psychology, and HeartMath science.
Steve is a retired Doctor of Oriental Medicine, Acupuncture Physician, and Biofeedback practitioner.

Each 30 minute guided session includes Coherent Breathing and a variety of Embodied Self-Regulation practices and time for Questions & Answers.

Online Courses
Recorded courses allow you to learn Embodied Self-Regulation Meditations skills and Coherent Breathing at a pace that best suits the needs of your brain for creating neuroplastic changes.
The foundation course focuses heavily on experiential learning and just enough science, drawn from neuroscience and somatic psychology research, for the embodied practices to make perfect sense.
Each recorded class session will include extended guided meditation practice time.
The foundation level course, ‘Embodied Self-Regulation Meditation: Integrating Body, Mind, and Spirit’ consists of 21 classes with an emphasis on getting enough meditation experience to create beneficial epigenetic and neuroplastic changes in your brain.

Personal Coaching
You’ll learn a variety of Embodied Meditation skills, suited to your individual needs and goals, for deepening your self-healing connection with yourself, others, and the environment.
You’ll learn Coherent Breathing skills for overall balance and more specific breathing techniques to address your personal needs.

In each session you’ll also experience a guided, embodied meditation to accelerate your healing process while you’re learning the specific skills for yourself.
